Gain clarity on what negotiation is, and more importantly know what it isn’t. You’ll leave this workshop feeling capable of negotiating without relying on price reductions whilst also protecting your brand and your profits.

This event is fully booked - please see our events page for alternative and upcoming workshops.

Join us for ‘The Golden Rules of Negotiation’ master class.

This four-hour interactive session aims to increase the effectiveness of you and/or your team’s negotiation skills.

You will leave feeling inspired and much more capable of negotiating without relying on price reductions – protecting your brand and your profits.

Why should this be of interest?

Pricing is constantly under pressure and the knee jerk reaction is often to simply lower prices to gain sales, resulting in reduced margins.

Lowering your prices until the customer says “yes” is not negotiating, but as most people have never been trained to negotiate properly this is often the tactic used.

Negotiation is not a necessity, instead it should be a skill applied only “when necessary”. This class aims to show you when and how to negotiate.

What will you gain, learn and explore?

  • The crucial knowledge of what negotiation is, but more importantly, what it isn’t
  • The mind-set of great negotiators
  • How you should prepare before a negotiation
  • How to actually have the negotiation conversation
  • The top negotiation tactics and what to do with them
  • Learn buyer’s tactics and what to do with them
  • How your own personal style affects your outcomes

Who will be delivering the class?

David McClements of Whitewater will lead this half-day session. David’s passion for learning and development was ignited early in his career and as a result he travelled the globe to learn from the best as how to truly engage and develop individuals and organisations.

He established Whitewater to enable the development of training solutions that actually work. Engaging delegates, inspiring the desire to learn, giving real skills, and ultimately delivering the objectives for his clients.

Whitewater has become known as a specialist in training in the areas of Sales, Negotiation, People Management and Motivation.

This is an interactive session so we encourage all attendees to ask questions throughout. This event is open to business owners and their teams.
