Workshop

Storytelling as a Strategic Business Tool

Pwr2lknqjbgkt6khapjw
Why Storytelling? Stories can influence in ways that stats and facts can’t. That’s because we are all hardwired to tell stories but too often at work we rely on power points and jargon to explain our messaging. No wonder people find it hard to listen and can’t explain their company strategy. Within the business context, meaningful stories can address this issue — in fewer words with more cut through — turning communication into inspiration.

What will you gain, learn, explore, and create?

Why stories matter in business
Practical exercises showing how everyone is a storyteller
How to share your personal connection story in a professional context
A simple narrative structure that explains complex strategy
How to deal with anti-stories in an organisation
Why you need to know the difference between oral and written communication
Techniques to help you convey a message that actually sticks
Ways to use stories to create compelling presentations
