Join us for the next event in a series of dinners designed for members in the retail and consumer space.

Together we will explore the key challenges of running a B2C business in 2018. From technological innovation and the development of new platforms, to the changing behaviour of your consumers, to the increasingly busy marketplace. 

During this dinner, we will be discussing why and how to go about building an e-commerce platform. 

There are so many benefits in being a bricks and mortar retailer. You will already have an established presence on the high street, and it’s likely you’ll know your customers by face and name. Part of your growth strategy can be to expand your bricks and mortar footprint regionally and sometimes internationally, though you may eventually reach a point where an e-commerce channel will really help you accelerate business growth and expand your reach exponentially. 

This dinner will look to explore, but will not be limited to: 

  • The advantages and disadvantages of becoming a multi-channel retailer
  • How to work with an agency and what actually goes into building a transactional platform
  • What are the legalities concerned with taking your business online
  • How to maintain consistent branding as your channels increase
  • What are some things you need to consider to increase reach and drive sales

What are Special Interest Groups? 

Unlike our classic, cross-sector roundtables, the Special Interest Groups have been designed to bring you together with members in the same space, with similar clients, to discuss challenges or innovations that are really relevant. The idea is that you can share needs and leads, and learn from each other, with an already strong understanding of the landscape. A member of the team will also be on hand to follow up with relevant connections & insights.
