Health & Wellbeing

Image of Managing mental health event

Poor mental health costs the UK economy £34.9m per year and yet 67% of managers have received no training in this area.. In this session, Anna will help you identify symptoms of common mental health conditions and provide training and suggestions on how to support someone at work.

This event, aimed at leaders and managers, will help you better understand the spectrum of mental health, dispel the myths and stigma, identify the common symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression and how to proactively support someone so that they can perform better at work.

This session will give you the tools to:

  • Provide ways to promote positive wellbeing
  • Improve communication skills and provide the confidence and competence to have conversations with people about mental health issues
  • Understand and balance competing workplace demands and responsibilities
  • Provide language, dispel myths and reduce stigma surrounding mental illness
