Following requests from members for more expert insight into the future of business to help them adapt, The Supper Club is launching a series of Foresight events looking at what’s on the horizon. This series will begin with a focus on finance, the evolution of growth capital, and what is driving change.
A decade on from the financial crisis, challengers and disruptive models have forced banks and investors to adapt to compete for growth businesses. It’s no longer a straight choice between debt or equity, with various hybrid options; but which of them will still be here in ten years? What will drive demand and innovation? What impact will MiFID II, PSD2 and open banking have on incumbents and challengers? What part will Bitcoin and Blockchain play in the future of finance? Ultimately, will this help or hinder high growth businesses?
The Supper Club will chair an influential panel of experts and pioneers leading this change for an audience of business owners looking to scale their businesses and exploring funding options. The event will also mark the launch of The Supper Club’s Guide to Growth Capital, with insight on a range of options from members and partners.
