Investing and Advising: an afternoon with Simon Devonshire, OBE

Vwvncuqbcnbrmjj6ygpi
Thinking about investing in or advising businesses to scale?
Simon Devonshire OBE is the man to ask.

Simon Devonshire OBE is a rare breed. Corporate VIP meets government advisor, serial entrepreneur, prolific investor and non-executive director (NED).

Having run the business division of O2 UK for five years, Simon went on to co-found Wayra Europe, a business accelerator within the Telefonica group.
Since then, he has helped scaleup a remarkable portfolio of businesses, three of which are in multi-million revenues. His investments include Howz, which monitors changes in domestic energy usage, and the utility switching service Make it Cheaper.

Simon is an experienced advisor, serving as non-executive director for companies as diverse as InnovateUK, the Student Loans Company, Talent Cupboard, and a VCT. He was Entrepreneur in Residence (EiR) for the Government (2014 to 2017) and sits on The Supper Club's advisory board.

During the afternoon, Simon will share his wealth of expertise in helping companies scale, on moving from entrepreneurship into the worlds of investing and advising (or, in Simon's case, doing all three and more) and discussing the options available to founders after exit.

So, if you’re thinking about diversifying your skills portfolio, and would like some powerful insight from a seasoned professional—this is the roundtable for you.
