At this special lunch hosted by Smith & Williamson you will hear from guest speaker Gary Dolman, co-founder and CFO of Monzo bank. Gary will be sharing his journey from founding Monzo, his exit through to developing his portfolio of investments and advisory roles. It will be a chance to hear how Gary navigated life after Monzo and lessons learnt from investing in scale-up businesses.

Guest speaker:

Gary Dolman was the chief financial officer at challenger bank Monzo. He started his career at PwC as a chartered accountant, working in London and Australia, before spending time at a series of major investment banks – including ING, ABN Amro and Japan’s Mizuho Group. Disillusioned with large banks, he decided to turn his hand to start-ups and helped form Monzo in 2015. Gary moved away from the bank in 2019 and now works part-time as an adviser, NED and mentor to start ups.
